A transparent explanation of email contact, anonymous analytics, and technical providers.
Operator
This website is operated by Stanislav Hambalko, a private individual operating under the name MidgardNet. The website is not operated as a registered business or company. Contact: [email protected].
Contact by email
The website does not include a contact form. The "Send an email" button only opens your own email application with the address [email protected] pre-filled. The content of the message you then send is processed by your email provider and MidgardNet, not by this website. The legal basis for processing the data you send by email is legitimate interest in handling your voluntarily submitted request (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Anonymous analytics
MidgardNet uses privacy-first analytics to understand aggregate traffic and improve the website. The supported setup is Cloudflare Web Analytics and optionally self-hosted Umami for anonymous events. Names, email addresses, and phone numbers are not sent to analytics.
Operational and security data
Hosting and technical providers may process limited technical data required to deliver and protect the website, such as IP address, request time, URL, or user-agent. This data is not used for advertising visitor profiles.
Cookies and similar storage
The current implementation does not add advertising tracking, cross-site profiling, or unnecessary cookies. Cloudflare Web Analytics is designed as cookieless analytics. Self-hosted Umami must be configured without invasive tracking. If a future tool requires non-essential cookies or similar storage, valid consent must be added before the tool runs.
Technical providers
The website uses Cloudflare Pages for hosting. API keys and secret values are not exposed in the frontend.
Retention
Retention of analytics and security logs depends on selected provider settings and should be limited to a reasonable purpose.
Rights
If you have emailed MidgardNet, you can request access, correction, or deletion of your data at [email protected]. If you believe your data has been processed in violation of the GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Slovak Data Protection Authority (Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov Slovenskej republiky, dataprotection.gov.sk).
Security
No email is suitable for sending passwords or secret access credentials.
